"What's the worst that could happen?"

How often are you mulling over "what if’s" in your business? Or hell, even your life?

"What if I create this course and no one buys it?"
"What if I pitch a new client and they say no?"
"What if the algorithm makes it so no one see's or likes my instagram post?"

Answer to all of these proposed "what if's": The world will go on.

We make up a lot of stories in our heads & we come up with a number of out comes to these stories. I have learned when I approach my "what if's" objectively & ask this question: "What is the worst that could happen?" It seem's WAY less of a big deal than I have created in my mind!

What if I create this course and no one buys it?
*Worst Case scenario comes true.
Ask: "What is the worst that could happen?"
Answer: You lose some money & time creating something that taught you a new skill.

What if I pitch a new client and they say no?
*Worst Case Scenario comes true.
Ask: "What is the worst that could happen?"
Answer: Client says no. Your pride stings a bit. Now you have time for that course you wanted to create.

What if the algorithm makes it so no one see's or likes my instagram post?
*Worst Case Scenario comes true.
Ask: "What is the worst that could happen?"
Answer: No one see's or likes your instagram post, so you text your BFF to like, comment & share.

The point to each of these scenarios: The world will go on! Your pride will be taking the brunt of the outcome. Not launching the course, posting the instagram or pitching the client because of what if's will always keep you from taking the leap, learning what works & reevaluating & redirecting when needed.

You can not learn, if you do not fail.
You can not fail, if you do not take action.
Take the action, accept the outcome, learn & grow.

Bizness Tip Tuesday:

When your "what if's" are holing you back:
Ask realistically, "What is the worst that could happen?" Then take action.

and IF the worst comes true?
Reevaluate & Redirect
